Now I Speak the Word
“God is infinite life. God is boundless love. God is infinite Intelligence. God is Unfathomable Wisdom. God is Unspeakable Beauty. God is the Unchanging principle of perfect Good. God is the Soul of Man.
I am the image and likeness of God, and I have the Power of the Word. When I speak that Word, it goes forth and cannot return Void. It accomplishes the thing whereunto I send it. That word goes forth Charged with the Power of God.
Now I speak the Word In your name and in mine. I invoke the power of the Healing Christ, and I say that the full power of God is now awakened in you, filling your soul with peace and life and joy. God is light, and that light fills your Soul. Your Soul is as the burning bush that Burned with the Power of God and was not consumed. There are no dark corners left; no complexes or neuroses; no fears or doubts; no old dark things. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. God is life and that life builds every cell in your body. The tide of divine life sweeps through your body, carrying before it any toxins, any foreign things that should not be there. It reforms, recreates, regenerates every organ and tissue, and charges it with its own divine life. “
The above quote is part of an essay written by Emmet Fox, a Christian minister that lived in the early nineteen hundreds. For me, Emmet’s essay is an excellent reminder on how careful we must be on what we say and just how powerful our word can be. For every word has power in accordance with our faith. The Gospel according to Saint John clarifies the mystery. “In the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the Word was God”; and then “The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his Glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth”. For it is a manifestation of the Divine Law and is the Will of the Creator.
As we approach the Summer Solstice and contemplate perfect poise and balance on a planetary scale; and as we now follow the Cosmic Christ into the higher realms , let us invoke with one mind, the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us together speak the Word for a healing of all the insanity in the world today.
Let thy Will be done Father.

Tree of Life Lesson: SOUL 1
The Soul is the shell of the Self, that which protects the SELF from all interference from ill development. Psalms 42:2 — “My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?”
The soul is akin to the emotional body, and affects it through development, thirsting after God, which unfolds the Soul and reveals itself.
In Judges 5:21 we find the Scripture, “March on my Soul with Might.” As the soul marches forward, the SELF advances, the soul produces of itself intense protections for the Self.
There are spiritual qualities within the Soul that bring about almost instantaneous illumination when the outer man lets go and lets God. We develop soul through meditation and Bible study, especially the New Testament.
In Revelations we find that the Way which is readily seen preserved is soul or sheath of the SELF because here is the record of past life.
This is so because the Self which the Soul encompasses is the cell, the body of the Father, and its ever-effulgent revelations carry with it the universal knowledge of the existence of the Way, for it was the Father’s Creation.
Man asks of the immortality of the Soul, and the employments of heaven, or as one might put it, the state of the sinner in relation to it. This is another reason why these questions go unanswered until one has reached through the Self the Akashic records, or the Mind of the Father.
Revelations 20:4 — “Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom judgment was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”
Unless the Soul is maintained by prayer, meditation, and Bible study, the SELF cannot find illumination or realization. Its potential must be activated by thought.
All material endeavors must be put to one side until the Soul is enriched to the point where it begins to expand its activity of life.
Then the Self will be realized and illumined, and found through the enriching of the Soul.
This is because the Soul is and functions on the plane of the heaven world.
The Father tells us in Ezekiel that all souls are His. Ezekiel 18:4 — “Behold, all souls are mine; the soul of the father, as well as the soul of the son is mine; the soul that sins shall die.”
In Psalms 33, “Our Soul waits for the Lord.”
The Lord is a consuming fire. The soul waits for that fire to burn out the dross, and then elevates itself and the SELF is realized. All power is contained in the Soul that has realized the Self, because its karma is paid off.
The great soul force or substance is Infinite, indestructible, and has a very high rate of vibration.
It came into the human body at birth, and leaves it at so-called death. Before it came into the body, this soul substance or force existed somewhere, and manifested in some nature.
When it leaves the body, it does not die. It cannot cease to exist. It cannot remain on the earth plane without a vessel or vehicle, a means of material manifestations; so it must return to its original source.
During its temporary residence in the human body, this great soul substance keeps in touch or attunement with the great DIVINE SOURCE from which the soul came and to which it returns. Therefore, all souls on the earth, like all souls on the Cosmic Plane, are in constant attunement, one with the other and each with all.
You make tests to show that the minds and intelligence of departed souls can communicate with the minds of souls here on earth.
It is because man’s soul is attuned with all other souls that thought vibration operates at great distances, and thus makes possible telepathy or mind reading.
The subjective Mind is the mind of the Soul.
Music we can understand, because it is God’s language of the Soul.
The difference in the expression of my soul makes up my PERSONALITY.
INDIVIDUALITY — a material manifestation of earth habits and life.
There is that part of the soul which makes it soul, that something which one does not say it is this which makes it so, but it is the quality which is likened unto Grace, it is that which is above the soul essence itself, it is simple, it is impressionable and pure nothing yet is the all, the totality of your life and mine.
There is no name for it, this pure nothing, unknown and yet closer than breath, I can call it receptive power, this divinity of man, it is the uncreated light of the Christos.
This is the absolute, free from all names and form, just as God is free from all names and is all that there is in our life now, it is pure God with our life representation.
This the body of soul above love, higher than grace and knowledge, for these are distinguishable.
It is in this power that God does blossom and flourish with the Holy Family, which the spirit of God blossom forth and its actions are visible in the dense world. It is in and through this power that the creating God bringeth forth His only begotten Son — the Christos and the essential part of himself and in the light of this is cast the shadow of the Holy Ghost.
PEACE BE WITH YOU.
People agree that there is life in a fetus from the time of conception. Life, that is, not soul. Some believe there is life even in stone, and certainly in plants and animals.
The important point is, where or when does the soul enter in, that immortal part which proclaims it a human? The part that does not die with the receptacle called the body. Otherwise, the principle of “right to life” would forbid anyone to swat a fly. -MRB
From Father Paul: excerpt Science of Light lesson
God is Light–and while this is by no means an adequate definition of Divine Being, it is true that the infinitude of Light approaches about as near as the finite mind of man can hope to come in an understanding of His Nature.
The sun of our solar system is the brightest light which is evident to our sense of vision, and of course it is also much more than that, acting as the very sustainer of all life on earth. For this reason it was often worshipped by the ancients, its radiance appearing as a perfect symbol for the Mediator who funtions between natural man and the great invisible Light and Being of God.
The sun is sometimes called the great Healing Benefactor, assisting generously in the restoration of health to those who have gotton off-balance. Persons with most types of illness, who are not at a crucial stage, are encouraged to spend some time in the sunshine each day, making sure to exercise moderation and good judgment, to measure the time thus spent, for one must avoid overexposure to its powerful rays. We have all experienced the joyous lilt that comes with morning sunshine, and this does much to lift the spirits, another important factor in healing, and in arousing the desire to get better…
WHAT IS THE SUMMER SOLSTICE?
In the Northern Hemisphere, the June solstice (aka summer solstice) occurs when the Sun reaches both its highest and northernmost points in the sky. It marks the start of summer in the northern half of the globe. (In contrast, the June solstice in the Southern Hemisphere is when the Sun is at its lowest point in the sky, marking the start of winter.)
The word “solstice” comes from Latin solstitium—from sol (Sun) and stitium (still or stopped), reflecting the fact that on the solstice, the Sun appears to stop moving in the sky as it reaches its northern- or southernmost point. After the solstice, the Sun appears to reverse course and head back in the opposite direction.
The timing of the June solstice is not based on a specific calendar date or time; it all depends on when the Sun reaches its northernmost point from the equator. Therefore, the solstice won’t always occur on the same day. Currently, it shifts between June 20, 21, and 22.
The Summer Solstice is the day with the longest period of sunlight. Notice how the Sun appears highest in the sky at the solstice; its rays strike Earth at a more direct angle, causing the efficient warming we call summer. Because the sun is highest in the sky on this day, you’ll notice that your shadow (at noon) is the shortest it will be all year.
For those who live in the Southern Hemisphere, this is the shortest day of the year and marks the arrival of winter.
From Jesus Christ: “Illumination is not just a matter of your receiving some light and being able to see it. Illumination is a matter of receiving Light, and then letting go, and letting go, and letting go, until your complete body is full of Light; until you have so much Light that you can never see darkness. … “ For a strong building or temple can only be built on solid ground. A strong body only can hold the spirit of my Father, and the light of the Christos, and fulfill my Word.
For he who does not carry the Light shall be lost in the darkness, and his life shall be short.
For I say unto you that my Father’s house shall be strongly built on this earth, and it shall be full of Light and plenty.”
In the Illumined Brotherhood of Tibet, and among the Masters of the Far East today, the phrase used by Jesus is slightly modified and becomes, “I am the Light.”
It will be recalled that all the Masters used the word Light in this significant way. It will be recalled also that the testimony of witnesses in regard to these Masters always contained reference to the Light that shone around them, or appeared whenever they were present, or whenever any manifestation occurred.
Throughout spiritual writings and scriptures, we find references to the Great Light descending upon persons, or ascending from their midst, or appearing in places around them.
The Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies was surrounded by a Great Light on certain occasions. The Shekinah or Holy Altar in the temples representing the presence of God, was surrounded by a Great Light on the occasion of certain spiritual manifestations. A Great Light guided many in their journeys, and a Star guided the Wise Men at the birth of Jesus.
There is no such thing as too much Light, or Illumination which doesn’t have Light…”
Mental Illusions and logical fallacies show how we think The greatest mental illusion is thinking that you are superior to other people. Buddhists have a precept against that: Do not be proud of yourself and devalue others.
And also a koan: A monk asked the Master, “What is the difference between the unenlightened and the enlightened man? The Master replied, “The unenlightened man sees a difference, and the enlightened man does not.”
If you try to decide whether that makes the enlightened man superior, you fall straight into the pit of Hell, that is, the realm of attachment.
This is what compassion looks like if you aren’t having any, and prefer to be mired in karma
Christian scripture says: Do not be a respecter of persons.
Advaita Vedanta says: That are thou.
Orange Concentration Exercise
The purpose of this exercise is to train the mind to concentrate upon a given subject for longer periods of time without allowing distracting thoughts to enter. This improves memory and comprehension. You cannot meditate without concentration.
Set aside a period of time, such as early morning or before retiring, for this exercise. Whatever time is chosen, try to stick to it each day. Pick a quiet spot where you will not be disturbed.
Sit quietly in a chair with a hard back and just take it easy for a few minutes letting your thoughts slowly come to a halt.
Then, looking at an orange which you have placed on a stand or clear table before you at about 1 ½ feet from you, examine slowly and completely the surface of the orange.
Then, letting your eyes slowly drift to the center of the orange, look within it as if you are really looking inside the orange.
Let your eyes remain constant as you look within it and examine the various segments, shapes, colors, and sizes of the pieces and the seeds within the orange.
Then after you have done this for a few minutes, examine a seed and take it down to its shell and examine its many layers.
Then looking at the seed, see how it would look placed in the ground, then sprouting, bearing roots, and finally growing to a small tree, then a mature tree bearing a blossom which blossoms into a fruit. You again have the orange. Let this be your exercise.
If at any time during the exercise your attention drifts to another subject, stop immediately and go back to the beginning, letting your thoughts drift out and slowly stop and then begin again.
Do not stop and start again more than 3 times in one sitting. If focus is not kept after 3 tries, discontinue the session and try again later in the day.
Do this exercise each day for 7 days.
Remember that this simple exercise represents your universe, and that Jesus after he had taken on the Christ aspect, said that “Only through me shall ye see the face of the Father.”
This orange is round like the Sun, in a similar shape. It is also the path to the Father because it represents in form and symbolism the shape of the Father, this Solar System.
It is also subdivided into segments, the same as the segments of the solar system, and its divisions for the calculation and the divining of the natal astrological chart. So the seeds of the orange are in symbolism the planets of the solar system in the different houses of the Zodiac.
Under the influences you gain control of mind so that you may reach the Mind of the Father, so that you may reach the SELF within, which you are seeking.
So we see that in this simple concentration exercise, which is more than 4,000 years old, we have the symbolism of the Son/Sun, and the symbolism of this solar system and life eternal.
The completed exercise should take between 10-15 minutes a day.
GOD BLESS YOU.
Pentecost
Acts 2 When the day pf Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. When they heard this sound a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his language…Peter addressed the crowd: 15) These men are not drunk as you think, this is only morning” and he then repeats the words of the prophet Joel…17)…In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18) Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days and they will prophesy. 19) I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20) The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21)And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Today and everyday, these words have confused those trying to understand with the rational mind this prophesy. Spirit happenings are never understood with the rational mind of a human being. The rational mind is not prepared for such, no more so today than they were on the original Pentecost. That is why the story is preserved for us and others. We must realize it has to be understood with another level of Self, a more spiritualized mind. The significance of the day is spoken of in The Blessed Virgin Mary by Corinne Heline, p 100: “On the day of Pentecost the Virgin Mary and other disciples were caught up into the realm of Christ consciousness. This realm is known by many names. It is the Buddhic Plane of Theosophy, the world of Life Spirit in Rosicruciarism. Some others refer to it merely as the Plane of Cosmic Consciousness; we might call it Christ Consciousness. Regardless of terminology, its impress is eternal upon one who touches this sphere even momentarily, for he passes into the world of Oneness. Herein he is brought into the realization that man literally lives, moves and has his being in God, the All-God. God is a living presence in the collective body of human mankind where all human beings are children of the Creator (the one Father/Mother) and therefore members of a universal brotherhood. He then recognizes that no one can be injured without everyone receiving the effect of that injury and that no one can be lifted up without everyone sharing in that upliftment. He now knows that all differences of race, color, caste or creed pertain only to man’s outer personality. They do not touch his spirit. It was this union of all with the One that enabled the disciples to speak in all languages and to divine the thoughts of those whom they contacted…”Cosmic Mysteries: The Elusive Path within Christianity
