As the Summer solstice has arrived, we find ourselves in the twilight of this earthly incarnation. For many of us, the path we have taken has brought us to a higher understanding of those things that were spoken to us when we were “Babes in Christ”.
The words that were spoken by our founders Father Paul and Mother Ruth have become the realities of everyday life. Though there is much unrest in the earth and its peoples now, there is also a closer contact with our Spirt Guides and Teachers on the other side, as heaven and earth come together.
It is in our contact with them and becoming channels of light, life, and love that the planet will come into the Illumination that we have worked to see our whole lives. We join many other Light bearers working for this throughout the globe.
As the book of Activity says, “And it shall be titled-the Victory.”
Peace and Love,
Rev. Donald
The word “solstice” comes from the Latin “solstitium,” which means “the sun stood still.” It is a natural breaking point in the seasons, and in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s when the sun reaches its Northern apex in the sky. On the Solstice, the sun will pause for a period, before it seemingly reverses course, causing the days to get shorter again.
Throughout history, the solstice was a liminal time to connect with oral traditions, sharing folk tales, songs and ancestral stories, to help us make meaning of our life within the natural cycles of the seasons.
This is a beautiful time to celebrate friendship, and to pause, reflect, and take stock of who we’ve been until now and who we want to be moving forward.” –Kristen Roderick, from “Celebrating Friendship with the Summer Solstice”
In the path of Christian mysteries, the Summer Solstice symbolizes a time when the aspirant endeavors to follow the Cosmic Christ in his annual ascension into the high spiritual realm whither he goes to prepare a place, to the end that where he is, there we may be also.
Working with the Light In ancient scripture, darkness is made to represent concealment; under cover of darkness most sins are committed. Thus it is, that darkness takes on the moral value of evil. Conversely, Light represents action in the open, frankness, honestly done; and so, Light here is symbolically associated with goodness and virtue.
We are then told that the eye may be opened and our vision may be good, and yet we may not see; which is simply saying that our mind was closed, choosing to live in darkness. Consequently, ignorance is associated with darkness, wisdom with light. There are some instances where Light is held to be synonymous with wisdom and knowledge.
Jesus spoke of Light often in parables, calling on his listeners to let one’s light shine and to not hide it under a bushel, which beautifully express the spiritual quality in each of us which can be developed and become a guiding light to others. The extreme simplicity of it brings many questions. Christ Light is that Light which illuminates everyone; it makes it possible for the life force to function, bringing into focus in our consciousness, the desires, thoughts, and ideas of the Creator. .With the assistance of proper spiritual exercises and a true acceptance, this work calls forth the mystic Light, that Light which enlightens every man and woman coming into this world.
The old teachers understood this subject and helped their students to attain the experience of the Illumination, which always follows certain preparation physically, mentally, and spiritually, and comes after years of study and devotion as the student becomes accustomed and attuned to higher life.
Usually, the actual moment of Illumination was preceded by concentration or meditation, which led the student to a passive physical state and the objective consciousness became pretty near nil for a time; and, thus have had a number of names for this state, but yet, actually only one.
As we draw nearer and nearer to the conception of God, the mystery veil of darkness is drawn to the side, and the Light of the Christos seeps through to destroy the illusion, and we come into the full Illumination of the Christ.
Symbolically, we are told to ascend the mountain, and there receive the Initiation of Illumination. Moses received his Initiation and instructions while on Mount Sinai. Concentration and visualization exercises are for this purpose, so that we can isolate ourselves, as we likely don’t have a mountain to isolate ourselves on during our meditation.
For there came to Moses a great Light, or fire; it was unlike earthly fire. The writer tries to impress this point by stating that Moses noticed the fire did not consume the bush, or even affect it. You can take the bush as the material part of life. Surprise accompanies this experience of Moses, “and he was afraid to look upon God.” The words tell us that the impression is unusual, and when Illumination comes;:they thought of unworthiness. In Moses’ case we are told he exclaimed, who am I, that I should be selected to such a great work as this?
Moses’ experience was followed by a keen sense of great intellectual and moral expansion. Throughout spiritual writings and scriptures, we find references to the Great Light descending upon persons, or ascending from their midst, or appearing in places around them.
The Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies was surrounded by a Great Light on certain occasions. The Shekinah or Holy Altar in the temples representing the presence of God, was surrounded by a Great Light on the occasion of certain spiritual manifestations. A Great Light guided many in their journeys, and a Star guided the Wise Men at the birth of Jesus.
When a mystic says, “I am the Light,” he means that he is a spiritual guide which others may follow which will lead to the Source of Illumination. This is precisely what Jesus meant when he said, “I am the Way.”
Jesus was referring to his spiritual self or ego, as the Light of the world, or “The Light among men,” which was the title given him by many of the Illumined Brotherhood of Tibet, and among the Masters of the Far East today, the phrase used by Jesus is slightly modified and becomes, “I am the Light.”
The testimony of witnesses in regard to these Masters always contained reference to the Light that shone around them, or appeared whenever they were present, or whenever any manifestation occurred. When we speak of Light and Illumination in this day, we mean the Light of the Christos.
The moment man is born, and even before, he has Light in his body; in fact, that Light, Life and Love must exist there for him to be a living, moving, breathing being.
This Light is mainly from the Sun of God, which causes all things to grow. Light, moving at this high vibration, is received by the vital body of man [as well as in plants and animals] and from the vital or spiritual body through orderly means, seeps through the physical body to feed the cells.
The presence of Light within the body, our temple, and around it, is a state which is congruent to divinity, and this activates the Illumination state, or a Christ-state. As it intensifies, it activates the spiritual sight, causing us to know, see and understand more profoundly the things of God.
Jesus stated in Matthew 5:14, “You are the Light of the world” and he also stated that “a city cannot be hid.” Jesus was telling us that spirituality is the very life of nature, and that the very Light power of our magnetic structure demonstrates within our own body the very forces and powers of God as seen in all the Universe.
We now have increasing urgency to work with the Light as this transition into the New Age is happening—and the reactions in those who prefer to sit in darkness are intensifying.
Romans, 13:12 “And let us put on the armour of Light.”
Egg of Light exercise: The purpose of this exercise is for you to be one not only acquainted with the use of visualization and your own imaging of objects and light, but it is also to bring you into a position where you are totally surrounded by the Christ Light.
STEP 1:Sit in a relaxed position in a straight-backed chair. Visualize yourself within an oval-shaped egg which is filled with the White Light of Christ.
REMARK: In many ancient writings, the egg always represented and symbolized the one who had attained. The egg has always been used as a symbol of birth, for in it all the wonders of reproduction are manifested.
STEP 2: Draw into the egg form the Light to the extent that one can see and feel its brightness. In fact, after three or four days you should see it when sitting in it in a darkened room. In doing this, in the center of the egg should be an ovoid space which you are occupying.
REMARKS: n performing this exercise one should feel a terrific uplift and exhilaration which will improve the health and general condition
You will especially note the exhilaration in this exercise if you do it within two to three days of the approaching full-moon phase and just after the full moon.
his exercise should not be taken lightly. This and the other spiritual exercises are your opportunity to attain fundamental self-unfoldment.
Consistent and honest effort in using this exercise will bring the disciple into the fullness of his reality. The more you practice, the greater will be your devotional aspects and the more real will be the transformation within your entire being. For it will quicken your spiritual mentality and bring other gifts of prophecy, greater intuition, and, most of all, the realization of your increasing cosmic consciousness
Earl W. Blighton, known to his students as Father Paul, received a number of messages from the Lord Jesus while working with his students in the 1960s and 1970s.. He impressed upon his students that these are the “last days”, wherein the New Heaven and the New Earth are being formed right here as the old earth passes away.. Our beautiful planet earth is rising in vibration, forcing up the darkness of ages past—and people will have to adjust to the increasing influx of the Christ Light, or pass to somewhere else to evolve.
From Jesus Christ: “ For a strong building or temple can only be built on solid ground. A strong body only can hold the spirit of my Father, and the light of the Christos, and fulfill my Word.”
For he who does not carry the Light shall be lost in the darkness, and his life shall be short.”
“For I say unto you that my Father’s house shall be strongly built on this earth, and it shall be full of Light and plenty.”
“I say to you, that the day of the new heaven and the new earth are near…”
“Think not, nor let them condemn you for the acts of the past. But think on me for I am thy Lord, and through me shall come the Light of the Son of God.
For he that calleth my name and is a true seeker, shall receive the Light of Christ, and the shadows of the past shall be washed away.
For he who has drunk deep of the darkness, shall know greater Light.”
“Illumination is not just a matter of your receiving some light and being able to see it. Illumination is a matter of receiving Light, and then letting go, and letting go, and letting go, until your complete body is full of Light; until you have so much Light that you can never see darkness.
There is no such thing as too much Light, or Illumination which doesn’t have Light…””
[This involves giving up our ego-centric lower self and learning concentration. The Soul that attains and strives for this state has no personal desires or ideas of his own, neither does it desire to possess anything—yet possesses everything.]
Guidance from Jesus Christ “For the ways of God, our Father are many and mighty, and he looketh not upon the poor, nor the rich, nor he who has just been thrifty; but, he who stands with the Light of Christ stands as though he were armored against great attack.”
“And true it shall be, that my children shall light the way, and they shall be given greater Light.
Be thou not fooled by their appearances, for many shall appear who are apparently very selfish, some very beguiling, some very inadequate. But my Light of the Father, through his first born, the great Christ, shall make them adequate.”
“All these things do I say. And it shall be in this day, for those who have received the Light, shall be like a carpet before thee. And thy way shall be lighted by the eternal lamps of thy brothers, and those who seek the ways who are among the elite.” (The “elite” are those who choose to follow him)
“And I say unto you, go forth, let thy Light shine, and let thy word be well said, and written into the rocks of time, that It may not be erased.
Thou shalt walk strong, and thy body shall be filled with everlasting life.
Think not of dis-ease, for you are children of Light.”
“For blessed is he that bears the Light. For he lights the “Way” for his brother.
He that would obtain the regeneration, let him listen to my words and follow my commands, and he will live in the Light, and the Light will make him alive.
Seek ye first the Light of the Christos, for in it is eternal life. To he who becomes nothing, he shall attain all things under my guidance and in my word, for it shall lead him to the Father, for this is my first work.”
Ephesians 5:14 “and Christ shall give thee Light.”
“For my protection shall be as a shield, and that shield shall be a brilliant Light.
For I say unto you, that all men fear before they have had the Light of Christ, because of the darkness.
Only through the Light of Christ can a Self be emancipated.”
Life becomes lighter the moment we realize this simple truth: we are not in control of everything. Storms will come. People will leave. Plans will fall apart. And no matter how hard we try, we can’t control everything around us. But we can control how we respond. But peace doesn’t come from control. It comes from clarity.Clarity to know the difference between what we can change, and what we must accept.
Your mindset? You can control that. Your actions? You can control that. Other people’s choices, the past, the weather, fate? You can’t. So instead of fighting reality, work with it. Adapt. Grow. Let go.
Stop pouring energy into battles that aren’t yours. Choose peace over control. Acceptance over resistance. Growth over perfection.
Ponderings from Mother Ruth:
Through the Divine Motherhood, with throes of mighty labor, and with many forms of divine interblending and working, will the New Age be born.
The Lord alluded to this new birth in his words before recorded (in the Book of Activity): The glad tidings of this my new Gospel.
Not a new set of doctrines and precepts for the regulation of human life. They remain, immutable as the stars; but glad tidings of great joy to his own.
For the Mother comes to beget the New Age: It will be begotten in a way and manner totally different from the conceptions and anticipations of men; and she, the Divine Wisdom, who with the Father inhabited eternity before the world was, shall yet be justified of her children in the Second Advent…
Human love is just not big enough to fill the empty spaces in human hearts, and depending on a supply from others leaves man hungered; God could not depend on our love from below to fill him, lest He be poor indeed.
Mary is called beloved, because she was chosen as a channel for God’s love to come down into the world, and was undoubtedly loved by those who knew her well, yet was known but to a few, and not in such a way that she was spared suffering.
Mary was blessed, because she was chosen above all others as most worthy to bring the Son of God into the world. But it was a secret blessing known only to a few, while she remained on earth…
In the New Age, woman will not need to ask man to perform miracles as Mary asked Jesus at Cana; she will herself do such this, and transmute water into wine. Perhaps Jesus will give her the “push” to step forward, as she gave him then.
Japanese researchers have developed a new, non petroleum based plastic that begins to break down within hours in seawater and decomposes completely in soil within ten days, releasing nutrients similar to fertiliser that can benefit plant life. The manufacturing process is equally innovative; it involves mixing components in water to create a viscous layer containing structural elements and a watery layer rich in salt ions. This critical “desalting” step ensures that the material retains its strength and usability. Remarkably, 91% of the primary component used can be recovered after dissolution, making it highly recyclable.
These plastics aren’t just for niche uses either. The material can be moulded into various forms like traditional thermoplastics, exhibiting strength and versatility comparable to conventional plastics.

When Carl Jung was building a tower on his Swiss property, workmen mistakenly delivered a very large stone to the construction site. Instead of sending it back, Jung, , who had learned stone carving from local craftsmen, eventually got to work carving words and images on the sides of his stone. He etched the image of a small figure wearing a hood and carrying a lantern. The accompanying words indicate that this is Telesphoros, a minor figure in Greek spiritual art whose name means “bringing fulfillment” and who was a healing figure related to the medicine god Asklepios. J
Jesus says that he is the light of the world and I see images of the Buddha as a being of light. Jesus also spoke of showing our lamps, and the Buddha emanates a subtle light.
On his stone, Jung carved the following words: “Time extending through the ages is a child playing at a game of chance. The child is king. Telesphoros runs through the dark places of the world like a star sparkling in the depths, leading the way to the gates of the sun and the land of dream.”
Jung said that everything he tried to write in the 18 volumes of his books is on this stone. I assume that this sentence was important to him. Try carving words into a block of stone. You want them to mean something.
The name Telesphoros comes from two Greek words: telos, meaning “end” or “purpose,” and phoros, meaning “carrying” or “bearing.” Many people are looking for purpose, especially in today’s world that is so manic, so externalized and without reflection. Jung’s statement hints that purpose is not static. It’s like a twinkling planet in orbit through the universe. It’s a small but meaningful light.
Try to see a fast-moving light in the night sky, like a meteor or comet. You have to be alert and look closely. This is how you look at your life, as it moves along day by day, trying to catch a glimpse of telesphoros, the purpose in your struggles and suffering. You have to be ready for the unexpected in order to catch a hint of those moving, purpose-filled signs, just as Jung was awake when they delivered the wrong stone. He saw Telesphoros in it long before he carved it.
Be ready to accept the many things that happen regularly that are not in your plans, the mistakes that may have meaning for you. This is a particular way of living, in which you are not stuck on your plans and expectations and are ready to deal positively and quickly with things that go wrong. You often are receiving only twinkles of guidance, you pay attention to the little lights of epiphany that demand attention. To see the lanterns and sparkles and lamps of meaning, your little self or ego has to get out of the way. You need the freedom and the practice to respond without thinking. You become a person who is not so focused on enlightenment and control that you can’t appreciate the spark of life when you see it. You understand life as a child playing a game of chance, where “accidents” and “mistakes” carry the most important revelations. –Edited from A Religion of One’s Own: A Guide to Creating a Personal Spirituality in a Secular World by Thomas Moore
When the life is understood as being within, When the Kingdom of Heaven is sought from within,
When men look deeper down into themselves To find that God Who is every soul’s seeking, and men follow Me truly in all that they do,
Rest assured, you are blessed and I sit on My throne. When I sit on My throne I shall radiate peace, Peace to the world, joy and thanksgiving,
For the Lord then is come, the Lord then is come. Blessed and happy are they who serve the Lord, Blessed and happy are they who are humble of spirit,
Blessed and happy who mourn over others, Blessed and happy the meek and self-denying, Blessed and happy who yearn after righteousness,
Blessed and happy those who purify their hearts; But blessed and happy above all the makers of peace, Who extend the sway of blessing on their earth, And by their becoming channels of blessing,
They serve both Me and God the Father. Such are the very lights of manifestation— Will they become the leaders of the nations, Or continue to be persecuted in my Name?
This is the question that stands before humanity.
This is the question that stands before humanity:
Christ, or the verbal worship of His memory?
Christ, or an institution condemning others?
Christ, or conflicting opinions as to His nature?
Christ, while ignoring even His simplest teachings?
Christ, that thereby all become children of God.
THIS IS THE PROBLEM THAT NOW STANDS BEFORE THE NATIONS;
THIS IS THE QUESTION FACING EVERY SOUL.
Now may the peace that passeth understanding, By the awakening of your inner self, Show its light and wisdom straight before you And make My vision be a reality.
O God, O God, enlighten the hearts of mankind;
Awake, thou that sleepest, arise from the dead!
I COME! I BRING THEE LIGHT!
